Personal Blog: 2015 New Years Resolutions

Happy New Year!!

Well it’s that time of year again! I have decided that instead of making resolutions and falling off the bandwagon after a few months, I really want to make a change in 2015. I have been in a bit of a rut and I am determined to a  accomplish my resolutions this year! The following is a list of my resolutions in no particular order.

  1. Blog 3 times a week.
  2. Work out at least 30 minutes for 5 days a week.
  3. Sketch or paint twice a week.
  4. Save for a trip to Disneyland or Disneyworld.
  5. Save more money than I spend.

I have a longer list for myself but these are some of my main ones and the rest are more about organizing my life a bit. I have decided to add a “Personal Blog” section to this website too so if I don’t have anything book related to write about I can talk about some of my other interests. I really love writing but I have troubles getting my thoughts on paper so hopefully this will help me get  into the habit more. I also want to start painting and sketching more often. I have always loved being creative and I find I am not putting aside enough time in the day for me to spend on the things I love. Also whenever I sit down to blog I have the problem of my cats crawling all over me and my laptop lol.


I also have been not doing the best in the health and fitness department. I have issues with my back that make it hard to exercise and I was doing good for awhile but fell off the bandwagon and I really want to try and get into better shape. I hate going to the gym so I tried Team Beachbody videos at home and I really love the Les Mills Combat workouts! Also if you have a really crappy day it is a great way to work off your aggression. I’m going to try and get my boyfriend to get on the bandwagon with me too!

One big thing on my list is I really want to go back to Disneyland again or go to Disneyworld for the first time! I am a huge disney nerd and have not been back since I was a kid. My family isn’t real big on crowds either so I have never even spent a whole day at Disneyworld. My boyfriend and I are on planning on going together and even staying at one of the Disney hotels! I also have a long list of Disneybounds I want to do at Disneyland including Peter and Wendy, Eric and Ariel, Alice in Wonderland, Merida, Belle and Pongo!


Well those are my resolutions! They may not seem like a big deal but I am excited to start working on them!

2015 will be my year!
